Iron Man

I just saw it with Rhianon and Mike. I've gotta say, I was slightly dissappointed... Now don't get me wrong, I loved Robert Downey Jr.'s character in the movie & the action scenes were great, but I thought that the movie didn't have enough action in it. The special effects were awesome and all, but there were hardly any battles in the whole movie. Most of the movie was about the guy building the suit instead of him using it to kill hordes of soldiers. And worst of all: the original song by Black Sabbath was played only during the credits!! And to top that off, they only played the guitar solo and took out all the vocal parts of the song! That pissed me off. I kept waiting for Iron Man to be flying through the sky and hear that famous "IIII am IIIron Maaaaaan!" part of the song. But it never happened! The producers dropped the ball on that one if you ask me. All in all, I enjoyed Iron Man and I think it's one of the better Marvel movies out there, but it just felt like it was missing something. I give it a 7 out of 10. If you haven't been to the movies in a while and can't decide what action movie to watch, go with Indiana Jones first.

I just saw that movie today, and i must say it was excellent.
Full of action, and witty humor, and his house was AWSOME.

Yes, I forgot to comment on the humor part. It was funny at times. But as for the action, I don't see what was so great because there were only like 3 or 4 fight scenes and they were all kinda short.

Yeah...but the whole like amazing suit factor played a big part in my decision on its amazingness.

Yeah, I envy his suit and house and money and cars....

I saw this on Saturday and I thought it was good, but a little short. And I agree about the song thing. And most of what you said, really, Matt. I'd give it a 6.5/10, though.
