ok, you cant say the difference is in the way they dress b/c thats being a shallow and only looking at stereotypes. which i don't believe in but any who.
for the ones that don't know, emo comes from the word emotional and there is some long explanation you can go look up on urbandictionary.com. emo people are pretty much all about music and about being original and different from everyone else, when in the end they all look the same. go figure. goth is more of a darker belief. darker as in death and things along those lines. you could probably look that up also and get a better definition. but also keep in mind, even though someone dresses the part doesn't mean they are that stereotype. i admit i might not be 100% accurate, im only going off of what i know, which could be wrong.

i enjoy writing and
i love photography.
but between the two i think i love writing more.

i write fiction and lyrics/poetry.
lyrics and poetry and kinda the same
but i intend it to be lyrics more than poetry.

That's really cool that you write lyrics. I have been trying to come up with lyrics for my band, but I haven't thought of many good ideas yet. I'm kind of stumped. Lol.

Got any pointers for me trying to write lyrics?

haha this is gonna sound emo or w/e
but like it helps to write when you feel w/e your feeling right away
like when my friend had a friend died, i went home and just wrote all i was thinking. also, try not to copy a writing style. it makes it a lot harder. just write what you think and flow. sometimes you can exagerate a situation to create a stronger feeling in your writing. like my mom and i will have an argument over if i can buy a shirt or not, and i will take that anger and make it worse in my mind then what it is so what i write seems to have more meaning.

i hope you understand all of this and i hope it helps. just don't force it or else it will be shit. lol

how different from each other are the clothes they both wear?

well if you take a 100% emo person and 100% goth person, emo is like funky stuff and they wear some color and goth is like all black and some red and chains. but thats the stereotype.

thats not that big of a difference...

there is some. but not a huge. emo has a fair amount of black but there is some color in there.

that's cool, me and sam are gonna try to start like righting our own music, and he'll right the lyrics, cause i think he's like awesome w/ words. i stink at that kinda thing. lol
